We are hiring in both our precision ag and service departments!
We're hiring a Precision Ag Sales Consultant here at Kalmes Implement in Altura. $60,000 to $80,000 base plus commission, and our top people are building six figure incomes.
Precision ag is one of the fastest growing parts of our business, and we need somebody experienced to help lead that growth.
This is a relationship job more than an equipment job. You'd be sitting down with growers, figuring out what their operation actually needs, and helping them get more out of their acres: GPS guidance, displays, data management, connected technology. Field demos, training, and staying with them after the sale.
What we're looking for: precision ag experience, a real understanding of how farm operations and equipment technology fit together, and the ability to explain a technical solution in terms that make sense standing in a field. Case IH AFS experience is a plus, but we'll talk to good people from any platform.
Along with the base and commission: company vehicle, health insurance, retirement plan, PTO, and paid holidays.

We're also hiring Service Technicians! Job description includes, but is not limited to, diagnosing and repairing agricultural and construction equipment, such as tractors, combines, haying, and dairy equipment. Knowledge of agricultural equipment is a plus! Applicant must have knowledge of machines and tools, as well as their uses. Computer knowledge is required! Must be highly organized, detail oriented, self motivated, and be able to work independently. Applicant must be able to communicate and work with customers when needed.
